Caprolactam is an important chemical monomer, and its demand is also increasing year by year. One of the production processes of caprolactam is to use benzene as raw material and ruthenium-zinc as catalyst, and the hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexene is the core link of caprolactam production. Industrial benzene contains aromatic sulfides such as thiophene, benzothiophene, and dibenzothiophene. These aromatic sulfides will cause the ruthenium-based catalyst for the hydrogenation of benzene to cyclohexene to be deactivated due to poisoning. Therefore, industrial benzene needs to be effectively deactivated. Remove organic sulfur components in benzene. Because benzene and thiophene have similar chemical and physical properties, there is competitive adsorption on commonly used fuel desulfurization adsorbents, so it is difficult for fuel desulfurization adsorbents and hydrodesulfurization to remove aromatic sulfides in benzene, so that benzene can reach the purity of refined benzene (sulfur content is less than 10ppb).
